Under the title“Songs of Love and Longing”Works byBrahms, Mendelssohn and Reger, including the "Seven Songs" by Johannes Brahms with the world-famous "Forest Night" and the touching and at the same time harrowing "I Dreamed the Night" by Max Reger. The newly foundedBrass ensemble "Sonus aes"gives the program a common thread with well-known pieces from Praetorius to Holst and newly arranged preludes.
