"I dreamed last night"

24 folk and art songs about longing, love, and home. These include Reger's masterpiece "Ich hab die Nacht geträumt" (I Dreamed the Night) and Johannes Brahms's song collection Op. 62, featuring the famous "Waldesnacht" (Forest Night).

"The moon has risen"

The composer Klaus Bucka arranged the well-known evening song especially for this project.

Before the concert, rehearsals

Twenty-four art and folk songs, some of them very demanding and performed in eight-part harmony, are a challenge. To not only master this enormous challenge but also to create an unforgettable musical experience from the printed music, many rehearsals are required. Certainly, some members will not be able to attend all of the rehearsals, which is understandable given the sheer volume of appointments, but responsible attendance is expected.
